Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers for the 150th Broome County Fair, Tuesday, July 22 to Sunday, July 27, 2024. Volunteers are vital to the success of the Fair and we are eager to have our community members join us in ensure that this year's Fair is the best one yet! 

If you are interested in applying to be a volunteer, please complete this form and review our criteria and benefits below! 

• Volunteers must be:

  • 16 years or older and be able to provide their own transportation to and from the fairgrounds. 

  • Have a love for the Broome County Fair and be willing to showcase that joy to fairgoers.​

  • Able to work a shift lasting no longer than four (4) hours and be able to handle changing weather (some positions may be outside).

  • Able to complete simple financial calculations and communicate effectively. 

  • Ability to utilize POS (point of system) or computers is a plus!

• Volunteers will receive complimentary entry to the Fair, for volunteering at least four hours.
