Events for the 2017 Broome County Fair

Kickoff Parade Tuesday, July 25 at 6 p.m.

The 4th annual Kickoff Parade marks the official start of the 143rd Broome County Fair. With participation from local fire departments, businesses, school bands, and the American Legion, there’s fun for the whole family. This event is free.

Demolition Derby Wednesday, July 26 at 7 p.m.

The most anticipated event of the summer! The sound of engines roaring, metal crashing, and mud flying excites everyone. We are the first county fair in New York to feature a demolition derby and we still do it the best! For ticket information, visit our admissions page.

Out of Field Tractor Pull Thursday, July 27 at 6 p.m.

Right from the field to the track! These are the tractors that you’ll find a farmer using! Come watch these hard-working farmers use their tractors for more than just the harvest. This event is free.

Kolby Oakley Thursday, July 27 at 7 p.m.

A local talent gone Nashville! Whitney Point native, Kolby Oakley is coming home to perform for at the Broome County Fair. To show his dedication to his hometown, Kolby’s show is FREE to all fairgoers! That’s right, no additionally tickets necessary! Watch Kolby and his custom built electric guitar take the stage at this year’s Fair!

Modified and Super Stock Tractor Pulls Saturday, July 29 at 7 p.m.

With screaming engines and smoke filled air, our tractor pulls are the most popular event of the Fair! An official NYPTA event put on by Full Pull Production, these competitors are the real deal. So grab a pair of ear plugs and watch these monstrous machines speed down the track! For ticket information, visit our admissions page.

Pick-up Truck PullsSunday, July 30 at 3:00 p.m.

The last grandstand event of the Fair, these pickup trucks are far from your average 4x4. Celebrate the end of the Fair in style by seeing how a pick-up truck should be used! This event is free.

Two Dollar PistolSunday, July 30 at 5:00 p.m.

Closing the Fair in style with this popular local band! Performing all types of music from Country to Rock, the Two Dollar Pistols are sure to let the Fair go out in style! This event is free.

Bengal Tiger EncounterShows occurring daily!

The most exciting attraction this year! Tigers are coming to the Broome County Fair! This show gives fairgoers the ability to witness these incredible Bengal Tigers! Along with their loving trainers, these tigers will educate audiences of the treats against these majestic creatures.

The NYS Veterinarians will be inspecting attraction to ensure animal safety.

Magical John will be performing throughout the duration of the fair! With two stage shows and two hours on the midway each day, Magical John is here to amaze fairgoers with awe and wonder!

Veteran/Armed Forces Appreciation Day

On Sunday, July 30th, all veterans and active military personnel with valid identification will receive $1.00 off their general admission cost.
